Students will create hands-on projects (flip books, Claymation, cut-out animation etc.) while studying the history and evolution of animation. Students will then move into 2D animation with Adobe Flash creating projects using motion tweens, shape tweens, key frames, and buttons. In the second semester, students will move on to 3D animation with Blender, creating characters and objects in 3D and then animating them into movie clips.
